Results of Social Inclusion Incubator

Main goal of the "Social Inclusion Incubator" (IWS) is dissemination of 6 social innovations out of 60 tested in micro scale, which will strenghten the efectiveness of solving the problems in social inclusion area. 

Thanks to the mechanism of the incubation, development, testing, validation and dissemination of new ideas will be possible, which will enable more effective solution of the issues connected with social exclusion in Poland. 

The call for applications is closed. Currently the formal, substantial and strategic assessment of the applications is ongoing.

In the project - Regional Centre for Social Politics in Kraków - was looking for the innovators who could be the natural persons, NGOs, public and private entities. 

Social innovations could be supported by financial grants for creating and testing of the new solutions, substantive and organizational support. The target group for the support were users of new innovations - the group in danger of exclusion for the reason of age, dissability, place of residence and status on labour market. 

Jagiellonian University Team is responsible for preparation of the research methods - proposal of innovations' assessment basing on the research methods in social sciences as well as the analysis assessing the social innovations and preparation of the scientific publications connected to participation in the project. 

Project is financed by the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Develompent in the framework of IV Priority (Activity 4.1: Social innovation), for the request of Ministry of Economic Development, Lebour and Technology, financed by European Union, European Social Fund.
