Doctor of sociology (the doctoral dissertation was dedicated to social participation on the local level, she graduated from the Jagiellonian University.
She studied theology at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków. Since 1996 till 2001 she was working in the Institute for the Market Research and Public Opinion CEM in Kraków, where she was leading the research projects and specialized in the qualitative research (moderating of the focus groups, analysis of the qualitative data).
Since 2003 till 2011 she was working as lecturer in Tischner European University, where she was giving didactic lectures on the methodology of the social research.
Since 1998 she works in the Institute of Sociology at the Jagiellonian University, conducting scientific research and the didactic lectures connected with the methodology of the social research and marketing research and the analysis of the public policies. In 2007 he defended a doctoral dissertation on 'Justice and equality in the distribution of earned goods', basing on the experimental research of the redistribution of incomes.
